Product highlights

Design: RIBAG Design Studio

An intensive development time were used by planners, developers and designers at RIBAG to realize their vision. The vision of combining two different lighting moods with a single LED and precise light control: brilliant direct light with space-opening indirect light. Experienced in a product that is stylish, understated and timeless in appearance.

Patented lighting technology

In collaboration with Bartenbach, developers and designers at RIBAG worked on the unique, patented lighting technology. Precise primary and various secondary lenses direct the brilliant light into the room with pinpoint accuracy and perfect glare control. A detailed micro-reflector ensures soft light distribution on the ceiling, which perceptibly opens up the room. With maximum precision in form and function, the VIOR ceiling lamps are unique in their appearance and lighting effect.

Sophisticated lighting control technology with microfacet reflector

VIOR convinces with high color rendering, perfect glare control and high luminous intensity. The light emerging from the calculated lenses is directed perfectly homogeneously to the ceiling via thousands of microfacets.

Splash water protection

With IP 54, all lamps are splash-proof and suitable for use in wet areas.

Brilliant light with high color rendering

Optimum visual comfort, high colour rendering and a unique atmosphere: with a high lumen output, the three VIOR variants are suitable for perfect illumination.

Individual lighting mood with Tunable White

VIOR and VIOR X are available as Tunable White versions and create a wide variety of moods with one and the same luminaire: from a relaxing, warm white candlelight atmosphere with 2200K to activating, cold white workplace lighting with 5000K. High-quality LEDs ensure excellent colour rendering, regardless of the set light intensity and light colour.

«At the beginning there is a vision that provides the impetus for innovation,» says Pascal Amacker, Creative Director at RIBAG. «At VIOR it was the complete new development of a sophisticated light control technology».

Unique lighting solution in historic villa

The 25 white VIOR lamps in the wooden cassettes of the ceiling rhombus pattern take up the bright elements of the living room in a refined and discreet way.
