Healthy indoor climate combined with flexible lighting
The Geberit Information Center in Lausanne, designed by Bureau Hindermann, is shining in new splendor. It includes an exhibition, two theory rooms, a practice room and a cafeteria with VERTICO pendant lamps, which support flexible use of the relaxation area.
Geberit's information center in Lausanne is aimed at professionals in the sanitary sector as well as architects interested in Geberit's broad product range. The 160 m² room in Lausanne's Boveresse industrial quarter remains visible along its entire length yet has a clear structure that allows parallel use of the various zones.

Design of the room climate In the cafeteria, the interior designers have conceived a playfully arranged combination of light and acoustic elements. The light brilliance and good glare control of the VERTICO pendant lamps, together with the floating greenery and the pleasant acoustics, supports the well-being and the recovery phase in the frequented zone. The free arrangement of the lamps allows different interior designs, at the same time the light itself can be changed in its characteristics.
Different scenes through adjustable light cones «The flexible lighting system benefits the various uses of the relaxation area,» explains Christof Hindermann. «The beam angle can be adjusted by simply rotating the focusing ring. In addition to classic general lighting, selective accents can also be set. In addition, the champagne-colored surfaces of the lamps add a festive touch to their surroundings,» says the interior designer.
The cafeteria is embedded between the open showroom and a slightly elevated mezzanine floor with two theory rooms that can be folded together if required. Bureau Hindermann had already converted the practice room for training specialists in 2018 according to the proven concept from the headquarters in Jona.

Relax, enjoy, balance. At the Monte Mare wellness and business hotel in Andernach (D), everything revolves around well-being and regeneration of body, mind and soul. RIBAG supplied custom-made VERTICO pendant lamps and mounted spotlights to highlight the special materials in the reception area.
Combined light-acoustic solutions at the new headquarters
