Exclusive temporary shop window - design in the spotlight 16. May 2024

For one year, the SCOPY, VERTICO, MILUM and KIVO collections illuminated the pop-up store on the first floor of the historic Domushaus on Pfluggässlein in Basel, where they showcased renowned design products. With the new use and thus the re-letting of the premises to an architectural meeting place, the lamps were given a second life as a sustainable solution. The last tenants, innotrixx AG, the representative of Bang & Olufsen in the Basel area, were so impressed by the lighting effect that they decided to adopt the overall concept and use it to stage their spacious office premises in future.

The temporary exhibition space in a prime location offered a unique experience. Customers could be enchanted by high-quality products, experience installations and functionality up close or exchange ideas at after-work events or art exhibitions. The interior design was always adapted to the needs of its exhibitors. Renowned brands such as Cosentino, Dornbracht, Christian Fischbacher, Schnyder Glasworld, Zoom by Mobimex, Miele and RIBAG created inspiring exhibitions and worlds of experience aimed at architects, interior designers and design enthusiasts. The constantly changing conditions called for a professional lighting solution with the greatest possible flexibility.

High-quality design in perfect light
MILUM downlights were used for optimum illumination of the premises. With their barely visible light emission, they impress with high luminous intensity, first-class brilliance and maximum visual comfort. The downlights were combined with VERTICO spotlights that can be focused, rotated and swiveled to create flexible accents, especially for events and exhibitions.

Three KIVO lamps were stylishly suspended above the consultation counter, creating an inviting and decorative accent light for conversations and allowing customers to see their favorite objects presented in the best light - and above all in an absolutely authentic way - thanks to their high color rendering.

The installation of SCOPY spots opened up completely new possibilities for object lighting. They guaranteed precise light and an unobtrusive, light appearance for staging shop windows and counter display cases. The miniaturized and focusable spots offered exciting interpretations of the stylish products with a flexible arrangement of the light cones.

RIBAG stands for timeless and sustainable products. We are therefore delighted that our lamps will continue to be used by the local representative of Bang & Olufsen, innotrixx AG, after they have been dismantled in the showroom and can prove their longevity.
