The 200 or so visitors who attended, mainly architects, project planners and lighting specialists, particularly appreciated the selected combination of atmospherically staged lamps, furniture and acoustic solutions. Visitors were able to experience real settings in the staged scenarios, from a simulated conference situation to a head office or meeting room. The new AROA lighting range was showcased in the different room installations with its clear expressive contours, illustrating the versatility of its possible uses.
Visitors, including the designer of the first RIBAG lamp Erwin Egli and the designer Daniel Kübler who has designed various lighting ranges for RIBAG, were free to explore the entire building. This allowed guests to watch the assembly process up close and see how RIBAG lamps are constructed by hand. In the spacious storage area they were also given the opportunity to marvel at the company’s special editions including lamps with warm leather panels and alternative metallic colours. «I really like the new sense of comfort RIBAG has been able to create through the use of different materials», raves Daniel Kübler, who, among other things, designed the MESH lighting range.
The relaxed casual atmosphere continued throughout the evening, enhanced by the gentle melodies played by Daniel Zehnder on the grand piano.
